The time required to do charka meditation is generally more than other meditation methods. It may take up to 2 hours for a total workout on all 7 chakras. The seven chakras in our body are located from head to toe and they are as following;
Root chakra is placed for your stability, balance and safety and is situated at the spine base. Sacral chakra is located at the lower abdomen and is positioned for sexuality, enthusiasm, and abilities for higher consciousness and psychic abilities. Color of this chakra is orange. Solar Plexus chakra is positioned to find our will power and is located just under the chest. This chakra is positioned for power and impulsive actions and its color is yellow.
Heart chakra is green in color and is the center for unconditional love and compassion. It is situated in the chest. For our abilities to communicate and the ability to express ourselves verbally is the throat chakra which is sky blue in color and is positioned below the head on the throat. As a window to the world of spirituality, is the third Eye chakra which possesses the ability to look beyond the physical world. This chakra is positioned on the forehead and its color is indigo. Direct channel to higher consciousness is the crown chakra which is violet in color and it is located on top of the head.
With chakra meditation you can focus on one or more chakras and it helps us in getting more awareness and consciousness in life.
